Hello, I'm Carine, founder of Bella Gaïa Hydration Head Spa.

I was born in Vietnam, raised in Paris, and now call Houston home. My journey has fueled my passion for travel, culture, and life’s diverse experiences.

​

As a young dreamer, I aspired to be a full-time flight attendant, drawn to the skies and the thrill of discovering new places. However, family expectations led me toward a more traditional path in business and management. Life, as it often does, had its own plans. I found myself managing three flourishing flower shops in Paris—Amour et Une Fleur, Florina, and Florïana Design—where I blended my love for artistry and travel, curating breathtaking destination weddings.

Later, I spent a decade in the Spa Furniture industry in Houston, working my way up from sales representative to Chief Operating Officer. It was a demanding role, but it deepened my understanding of the wellness and beauty industry.

In 2020, amidst the global upheaval caused by COVID-19, the seeds of entrepreneurship took root within me. I ventured into my own creations—BGBC (Bella Gaïa by Carine), an elegant pearl jewelry line, and AddMe NOW, an eco-friendly digital marketing NFC tag. Juggling my executive role and entrepreneurship wasn’t easy, and it took over two years to bring my ideas to life.

Then, a transformative moment arrived. Inspired by my travels and collaborations in South Korea, I was captivated by the Hydration Head Spa concept. I pursued training and earned certification from the Seoul Academy for Hair Therapy, determined to introduce this rejuvenating experience to Houston.

Clear Your Headspace—The Birth of Bella Gaïa

In early 2024, Bella Gaïa first opened in a small suite on Jones Road—a humble beginning, designed to build our clientele and ensure Houston would embrace this innovative concept. The response was overwhelming; our customers loved it! Seeing the demand grow, I knew it was time to expand.

By mid-2024, I made the bold decision to search for a bigger location. With a small budget and a baby on the way, I took on the challenge of building Bella Gaïa’s next home while navigating pregnancy. It wasn’t easy—every detail, every renovation, and every financial hurdle was a test of perseverance.

Then, on November 19, 2024, my son, Jonah Giovanni, was born. His arrival delayed the project a few more weeks, but he became my greatest inspiration. Despite the challenges, I was determined to complete what I started.

And finally, on January 3, 2025, Bella Gaïa officially opened its doors in Jersey Village, Houston. A larger, more immersive space where relaxation meets artistry. Every detail at Bella Gaïa—from the spa’s design to the tailored treatments—was crafted with care, blending the beauty of the earth with the elegance of air travel.
